1 Visit Cerro Calan Observatory, Department
of Astronomy of the University of Chile. Talk by a
professional astronomer on "The Development of
Astronomy in Chile and its Large Projects". Hotel.
Day 2 Visit to the Salt Mountains and the Moon
Valley Nature Sanctuary. Hotel.
Day 3 Visit to the exclusive Puritama Hot Springs.
First opportunity for Guided astronomical observations.
Camping. Day 4 Visit
to the Atacama Salt Flat and Miscanti and Miniques
lagoons. Second opportunity for Guided astronomical
observations. Camping. Day 5
Transportation to the Monturaqui crater (Meteorite
site). Transportation to the ALMA (Atacama Large Millimeter
Array) site. Hotel. Day 6
Visit to the geothermal Tatio Geysers Camp. Hotel.
Day 7 Visit to the site
